Additionally, I oversaw the consumer casting process, ensuring the selection of authentic consumers for appearance in the commercial. PRODUCTION NOTE:  In the summer of 2010, we embarked on the first direct response television campaign to utilize a national bus tour shooting multi-camera broadcast / digital commercials across the entire stretch of America to launch the latest vacuum cleaner from the trusted ORECK brand of products. The 12-day production journey spanned from coast to coast. The visual and brand design for our bus and all campaign marketing was Claudia Canas, a superstar Creative & Design Director whom I adore and had the privilege of collaborating with on many campaigns (including Rubbermaid and Comcast Xfinity Home)! Our production team skillfully equipped a bus and multi-camera chase vehicle, beginning with our first shoot day in Los Angeles, CA and concluding on the streets of Brooklyn, NY. A core production team, including myself, the actor / spokesperson (Tony Frassrand, tv personality from HGTV) and our client, Marc Osgood (Marketing Director for ORECK) rode in the ORECK bus while a second film / production unit trailed in another vehicle. And, NO, we did not sleep on the bus, thankfully! We hired local crews for the heavier production days. Filming took place at various scenic locations along the way and inside the homes of real ORECK customers, where they shared their experiences with ORECK vacuums. Post-production involved managing over 200 hours of footage, which was meticulously transcribed, assembled, and edited into short-form consumer stories. These narratives were featured across digital platforms and condensed into a 30-minute television infomercial for ORECK vacuums. Despite its challenges, this production remains a memorable achievement and one that still makes me smile!
